this is one of my favorite pieces, it from the Rocco period by Jean Honoré Fragonard and I just love the colors he uses, especially for the tress in the background. The story of this piece is a little provocative, but besides that I just love the scenery and the way her dress flows through the air.
I remember this one so well from art history classes- one of my teacher’s favorites so we spent a lot of time on it!
